A client just sent me a link to an online article in which the author referenced his current escape from the Washington, D.C. lockdown to his bugout property.  As it turns out, the author interviewed me four years ago about the subject of disaster preparedness and prepping.  Well, given the current COVID-19 situation, he has rerun the original interview feeling it to be a timely subject.  Agreed, four years on Retreat Realty is still educating and assisting folks in their purchases of bugout properties, survival properties and homesteads.  The current COVID-19 mandates have certainly made many folks realize how good it would be to have a mountain retreat property here in western North Carolina.  I appreciate Jimmy Mengel re-posting the interview.  You can read it here.
