Always good to have another closing. With the Thanksgiving holiday and lots of other things going on, it is a pleasure to have another closing come about. This one involved a 57+ acre parcel north of Burnsville, NC that features some incredible views of the Black Mountain Range as well as the Toe River Valley. I represented the buyers in this transaction which became rather involved once I discovered a discrepancy between the advertised acreage and what I was coming up with when I reviewed the legal descriptions in the deeds. After a false start, we ordered a new appraisal which revealed there to not be 70 acres, but rather 57. The buyer client continued on with the purchase, but only after having me walk the entire boundary with him.
In my line of work, I do a lot of hiking, but this one ranks up there as one of the more exhausting. After climbing to the upper property line, we descended more than 600 vertical feet through a rock strewn wash. Fortunately it was downhill and not up. No injuries to report. But this is just another example of what we do on behalf of clients. There simply aren’t many real estate agents that would have undertaken such an outing. So call us today to set up your tour to find the ideal homestead property or discuss how we can assist in the listing and sale of your property.
