How many times have you been trying to open a stubborn package or cutting nylon string and find yourself wishing you had a knife at the ready? It happens all the time, and with Christmas soon upon us, we’ll all be opening more than our share of boxes from Amazon and Best Buy. But wouldn’t it be nice to have a small utility knife as convenient to grab as your wallet? Introducing the Sinclair Cardsharp Folding Knife.
This is the smallest yet most versatile knife I’ve found and I love having it handy. It folds up to the size of a credit card, so it fits easily into any wallet or purse. The design is an engineering/artistic masterpiece of function. It comes in plastic with a surgical steel blade or an all aluminum design with the steel blade. When folded in on itself, the razor sharp blade locks securely into place, protecting you from unwanted cuts. Simply twist the locking mechanism, flip out the blade, then fold the two halves over onto one another and lock them in place. Presto! You have a handy utility knife able to take on a lot of small jobs around the house or campsite.
The only downside I see is that it is so convenient that you may forget you have it when walking through a metal detector. So be sure to pack it away in your checked baggage when heading to the airport.
